The Host








Sigrun Srivastav is a German and has settled in India. An avid traveler, she enjoys meeting people and opening her home to guests from all parts of the world. Being widely travelled, she truly understands her guest’s needs and extends guidance for all tourism related enquiries. She takes pleasure in assisting her visitors to make their visit to New Delhi an enjoyable and memorable experience. 
 
Sigrun is a sculptor and a writer of children books. Her works of art have been exhibited in India and abroad. She was the first artist in India to work in the unique medium of polyester resin in a distinctive and innovative technique of her own.

Sigrun has published thirty books for children, some of which she has illustrated herself. She has received many prestigious awards for her art and her contribution to children’s literature.  
 
For the last fifteen years, Sigrun has been studying many complementary healing therapies like Reiki, Pranic Healing, Magnified Healing, Holographic Repatterning, Theta Healing, and the exercises Tai Chi and Chi Gong. She received the Reiki Master title from the International Centre of Reiki Training, USA and practices and teaches Reiki.  

She enjoys to expose her guests to India’s divert art and culture by providing interested visitors the opportunity to attend some of the excellent cultural shows in the city, the opening of art shows , plays, concerts and to special functions at Indian weddings and religious festivals.
